In Greene County magistrate court cases a judgment was entered against Meri Astrid Nelson of Jefferson on a charge of disorderly conduct. The judgment was for a $65 fine with a $22.75 surcharge and $251 court costs.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Oct. 17 as follows: Donara Tanatsky Minor of Des Moines, harassment-third degree (46 counts) and violation of a no contact order; and Hayley Lynn Brown of Jefferson, harassment-third degree.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Oct. 17 as follows: Scott Dee Gordon of Grand Junction, failure to wear/maintain safety belts, $75; *Harry Francis Silbaugh of Jefferson, failure to maintain control, $100;

Speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Marty John Thomas of Manson.
Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Jay Patrick Schaben of Dunlap, *Heather Ann Moody of Pilot Mound, *Kent Lee Andersen of Webster City, *Richard Henry Baumhover of Urbandale, and Schyler James Roy Bardole of Rippey.
Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Xiong Pao Yang of Storm Lake, Larry William Snead of Altoona, and Susanne Marie Stenbo of Carroll.
Failure to wear/maintain safety belts, $50: Tyler James Gentz of Jefferson.
Fish and game violations: Jeffrey Kool of Adel, restriction on game- out of season, $100.
